Anti-social behaviour

Responding to complaints of anti-social behaviour

We will take all complaints of anti-social behaviour seriously and contact the complainant within the following timescales:

Priority 1                                                                      

  • Drug dealing
  • Criminal activity
  • Violence
  • Domestic violence
  • Hate crime
  • Serious damage to property

Timescale for Priority 1 

We will contact the complainant within 24 hours of receiving the complaint.
We will arrange to interview them  as soon as is convenient for them.

Priority 2

  • Aggressive behaviour
  • Frequent disturbance
  • Drug/alcohol/solvent abuse
  • Verbal/written harassment
  • Noise nuisance
  • Vandalism

Timescale for Priority 2

We will contact the complainant within 5 working days of receiving the complaint. We will arrange to interview them as soon as is convenient for them.

Priority 3

  • Pet nuisance
  • Minor noise nuisance
  • Untidy garden/rubbish
  • Access disputes
  • Running a business from home

Timescale for Priority 3

We will contact the complainant within 10 working days of receiving the complaint. We will arrange to interview them as soon as is convenient for them.
