Major works

Our Decent Homes and major works programme will have an impact on your family life and daily routine. We appreciate that for some residents the whole process can be disruptive and we will try and limit this disruption as far as possible. One of the ways we will do this is by trying to find out as much information as possible in advance of the work.

We will do this by talking to residents, listening to you and asking you to provide information through the use of questionnaires. We will also consult with your estate manager and if we need to, involve specialists such as an Occupational Therapist to help.

Over the following pages, we have listed some of the things you will need to consider and be prepared for when we plan work to your home. Your RLO will advise you further on these and will be able to offer help.
