Decent homes

Who is involved?

We have already explained that the Enfield Homes’ RLO will be involved throughout the process of the project. Our RLO will be joined by the contractor’s RLO once work gets underway, and the contractor’s RLO will be your daily contact while the work is in progress. The contractor’s RLO will plan the work to your home with you, so that the impact on you and your family is kept to a minimum. The contractor’s RLO will also discuss any concerns you may have, and in the event of the concern becoming an issue, record these in a register to ensure that they are recorded and sorted out.

We will also have a project manager supervising and controlling the project. Both the RLO and the Clerk of Works will report to the project manager to advise them how work is progressing. There may be times when the project manager will want to visit properties being worked on, or to be worked on, however there should not be the need for the project manager to visit everyone’s home.

Other people involved will be members of the design team and contractors’ site management. For larger projects such as the Decent Homes schemes you will have the opportunity to meet all the people involved in a project before we start the work. Again, all details will be in your information pack.
