Getting involved
Sheltered housing tenants' forum
The Sheltered Housing Tenants’ Forum is made up of resident representatives from sheltered housing schemes in the borough. The forum meets every 3 months and debates issues that are relevant and specific to the sheltered schemes.
The chairperson is different at each meeting to ensure that everyone has a real opportunity to contribute. An example of an activity the Sheltered Housing Tenants’ Forum has organised is a series of customer focus days, where partners included the Fire Brigade, Women’s Safety Forum, and Social Services.
