Repairs to your home

Routine repairs and maintenance

We will repair and maintain the external structure and common parts of your block and the services you share with other residents.

We will give 7 days notice when we need access to inspect your property, except in emergencies.

To report repairs that we are responsible for, contact the repairs4you centre on freephone 0800 40 80 160. For emergencies, an out-of-office-hours ‘make safe service’ is available through the council’s Customer Services Centre, which you can contact on 020 8379 1000.

Employing a contractor

You can also contact the council's contractors directly for any repairs that you are responsible for, but you will need to pay them for the work. Contact numbers are available from our repairs centre on freephone 0800 40 80 160.

If you engage one of our contractors to work for you and have any reason for complaint, you should complain to the contractor directly.
