Right first time
You may already know that we are putting in a brand new customer system which will give us access to detailed up to date information about our customers. This will help us to deliver the best possible services to you.
As part of this we have been using CR Market Research to help us collect information. For the past 3 months, they have been telephoning customers and asking them questions about race, religion and sexuality as well as whether customers have access to the internet and a bank account. This data collection activity is now complete and you should not have received any calls after the last day of calling on 21 September.
We would like to thank all of those customers who provided their information to us.
We have not been able to reach all customers either because they were out when we called, or because some telephone numbers we had are out of date. Please do not worry if you did not receive a call.
We are now reviewing the information we have collected. Once this is complete we will contact customers that we have been unable to reach to update their records.
Please be aware that you will not receive any more calls until we publicise new arrangements.
Can we please remind all our customers never to disclose their bank account details or PIN numbers to anyone.
