No base like home

From September all new tenants accepting a tenancy or those transferring property with Enfield Homes which needs decorating, will get a Homebase decorating card, so that they can soon get their property feeling like home.

This means that tenants can make their own choices when selecting quality decorating materials like wallpaper, paint and associated items - plus they can save lots of money!

Significant savings of 13% can be made, saving tenants’ rent and ensuring that Enfield Homes continues to deliver good value for money.

Rehousing Manager Thekla Frangeskou said: “This really is a good result for us all. “Our tenants get to personalise their home to their taste, save money, and we are able to let new homes more quickly and at a lower cost.”

Litsa Worrall, Chair of Enfield Homes said: “It’s great to see Enfield Homes using its freedom to work with other providers to develop good deals for our customers.

“It’s really important to our business that we don’t have our homes unoccupied for a day longer than necessary. These sort of significant improvements mean that we are developing our business, as we move towards our inspection early next year and gaining the all important two stars.”
