Your right to information about you
Your rights
You have the right to ask to see the information we keep about you. You will need to tell us what information you want to look at and which service or department is holding the information. We will not pass on any information given by a third party and will not identify the third party.
Our rights
We will supply the information you ask for within 20 days, or give you a reason if we cannot do so and we will charge a fee of £10 for providing the information. We will ask you for proof of identity before we give you the information and will accept these items as proof of identity:
- Building Society account book
- Bus Pass - issued by Enfield Council (or appropriate authority for out-of-borough residents)
- Driving License
- Family Allowance book
- Identity card - Civil Service, Armed Forces, Police
- National Health card
- Pension book
- Rent card
- Unemployment Benefit card.
