Who is responsible for what

Repairs you are responsible for:

As a tenant you are responsible for doing some repairs in your home. This includes items such as internal decoration, door locks (if the keys have been lost), draught excluders and internal doors.

Our Repairs Handbook has a checklist of all the repairs you are responsible for. We may do some of these repairs for you free under some circumstances, for example if you are over 65 and nobody under 65 lives in the property. Please see the Special Repairs Policy in the Repairs Handbook for more information.

Repairs we are responsible for:

We are mainly responsible for repairs affecting the structure of your home, as well as some internal fittings, such as kitchens and bathrooms, and ensuring that heating systems and water supplies are in good working order. The Repairs Handbook has a checklist of all the repairs we are responsible for.
