Ending your tenancy

If you want to end your tenancy, you must give us at least 4 weeks’ notice in writing. The 4 weeks’ notice must end on a Sunday. You can give notice to end your tenancy by writing to:

Whether you or we end the tenancy, the following conditions apply:

• you must return all keys for the property to Enfield Homes at the Edmonton Centre on the day you leave. We will continue to charge you rent until we receive your keys
• you must pay the rent and any other charges up to the date that your tenancy ends
• you must not leave anyone living in your home when your tenancy ends
• you must leave your property clean and tidy and in good repair. All fixtures and fittings must be in the same condition when you move out as they were at the start of the tenancy, taking into account fair wear and tear
• you must remove all rubbish, personal belongings and furniture from inside the property and garden, and any of your belongings or rubbish from communal areas.

You can also get a clean and clear bonus of £200 if you are moving. Please contact your tenancy manager for more information.
