Getting rid of bulky items

You are responsible for getting rid of any bulky items from your home. Enfield Council’s Environmental Services department will collect bulky items from the edge of your property free of charge. They will collect things like furniture and electrical goods, such as fridges and freezers. Items can be collected 7am-4pm Monday-Saturday, but you need to call Enfield Council on 020 8379 1000 to arrange a collection date.

If any of your neighbours are getting rid of things in any other way, please contact Communal Services as this may be a health-and-safety hazard. You must not under any circumstances dump furniture or other large items outside your property, as this is a fire hazard.
