Being a good neighbour

You can help make your estate a pleasant place to live for you, your family and visitors. Our Good Neighbour Charter sets out how you can play your part: 

• keep balconies and areas you share clean and tidy
• clean the landing outside your flat or maisonette
• be considerate to your neighbours
• don’t use, possess or deal in illegal drugs in your home or nearby
• keep noise to a minimum. Appreciate that your neighbours may live differently to you and want peace and quiet
• don’t let your pets be a nuisance to your neighbours
• respect your neighbours’ property and their right to peace
• keep a lookout for other people’s property
• be considerate and helpful to older people and children
• treat your neighbours as you would like them to treat you.
